We are continuing to operate services with home-based staff in line with current advice from the Scottish Government.
This does impact on our service delivery and our ability to respond to enquiries as quickly as we would wish. Unfortunately we cannot offer face to face meetings, site inspections or allow the public to visit our offices for the time being. We are however continuing to operate all our services whilst following government guidance to ensure the safety of our staff and the public.
You can continue to access our services via email at assessor@grampian-vjb.gov.uk
You can update your electoral registration details by going to www.gov.uk/registger-to-vote
We are continuing to update the valuation rolls, council tax valuation lists and electoral registers. We have also issued registration application forms to people who are not registered to vote at their current address. If you receive a form, please respond by going online and updating your details. If you cannot go online, please complete and return the form as soon as possible so that we can make sure that you are registered to vote in the next elections.
The Secretary of the Grampian Valuation Appeal Panel has advised that its valuation appeal committees will resume appeal hearings in the autumn with the first hearing scheduled to take place on 2 September 2020. Citations for all appeals due for disposal by 31 December 2020 are in the process if being issued.
