We are aware that there is advice in the media in relation to EU citizens registering to vote for the election on 23 May.

The legal position is that all completed European Parliament Election Registration forms (sometimes known as UC1 forms or EC6 forms) had to be received by Electoral Registration Officers before midnight on 7 May 2019 to enable EU citizens who are not citizens of the UK, Ireland, Cyprus or Malta to participate in the elections relative to their UK address.
