Every autumn we carry out a canvass of all households in Grampian and remove the names of people who have moved out.  Where we have the names of people who have moved in, we cannot add their names to the electoral register automatically; the law requires anyone changing address to make an individual application to be added to the electoral register.  Over 15,000 residents who we know have moved in have not completed an individual application to get registered.  Please check your mail and if you have an invitation to apply to register to vote from us, don’t delay, apply to register today.
