Polls are open from 7am to 10pm on 23 May.  If you find you cannot cast your vote at the polling station in person due to ill-health or for reasons related to your occupation, service or employment, and you only discover this less than 6 days before an election, you can apply to vote by emergency proxy.  Typical examples where this may arise are being admitted to hospital or being posted offshore at very short notice.
